Hello all!

I am an amateur photographer living on the Isle of Wight. At the moment it is only a hobby but I would love to make more of it.

I started my photography with a Sony alpha 100 which has now been upgraded to an alpha 550 (and sometimes steal my partners' lumix point-and-shoot, just because it's easier to carry). I enjoy wildlife and long-exposure photography, however these rarely combine well!

I have recently joined the 'Focus' camera club, based in Binstead where I often submit photographs into club competitions, coming 2nd overall in the 2009/10 beginners group, and then first place in the 10/11 beginners competition.

In January 2010 I started compiling a 365 photography blog, the outcome of which you can find in the blog along with some of my recent uploads... however it became more of a 48 :/

I have had two of my pictures (plus one credited to me that my partner took) printed in the 2009 and 2 again in the 2010 Festival Annual. One of my Bestival 2009 snaps of Lily Allen used in promo material for JBL Loudspeakers and one from Bestival 2010 on The World Famous pyrotechnics site.
